Genesis International Film Festival (GIFF) is an international short film festival. To promote talented auteurs, we connect them with film screening platforms, streaming services, and television channels. We invite outstanding participants to join the festival jury in order to maintain continuity between festival seasons and to further develop and promote the festival on the global stage.

The festival seeks high-quality films that tell stories in languages accessible to audiences from other countries and continents, as well as films that explore Chinese culture and everyday life, the Chinese people, nature, and cities.

GIFF screens films in Russia, France, China, Chile, and Réunion, and warmly welcomes exceptional Chinese films to participate.

The mission of the festival is to:

• Create a platform where participants can showcase their unique artistic perspectives
• Give well-deserved recognition to the best works
• Build a community that encourages meaningful exchange among creative individuals

In addition, we—the organizers—hope to emphasize that every person is unique, with their own distinctive worldview and artistic vision.

GIFF winners also have the opportunity to have their films recommended for IMDb listing, one of the world’s most popular and authoritative sources for film, television, and celebrity content. IMDb eligibility can enhance a film’s visibility and credibility, opening new possibilities for distribution and global recognition.
