Toujiang Film Festival Organizer's Manual
What are “Amazing,” “Not Considering Now,” and “Major Controversy”?
Recognizing that film evaluations often cannot be adequately expressed through quantifiable ratings, we provide two special buttons for judges: “Amazing” and “Not Considering Now.” When judges use these special buttons, they are not required to assign a numerical score to the film. “Amazing” indicates that the judge highly appreciates the film. When a film receives this label, it will be prominently displayed in your judging management interface. “Not Considering Now” signifies that the judge believes the film is not qualified for advancement to the next round or selection.
Film marked with this label will be displayed in the lower section of your judging management interface. When the same film receives both “Amazing” and “Not Considering Now” labels from different judeges, it will receive a “Major Controversy” label. Films with a “Major Controversy” label will be displayed prominently in your judging management interface.
*Please note that regardless of the judges’ choices, the final selection or rejection of films is determined by the festival organizers.
